Greatest War Heroes My Dad Says Benedict Arnold Is The Greatest War Hero In US History. Was He Or Was He Not A Cowardly Traitor?

My dad says Benedict Arnold is the greatest war hero in US history. Was he or was he not a cowardly traitor? - greatest war heroes

This is by far the best general of the Continental Army. His ability was at the Battle of Saratoga, Valcour, Bemis Heights, and of course the extraordinary capture of Fort Ticonderoga.

It was not a coward, in fact, I personally think he had the courage to present their conviction that the Continental Congress made a huge mistake in the formation of an alliance with France, since it was introduced and many attacks in his honor by jealous person responsible for the success he has finally convinced alleged switch sides. If not for the capture of a British spy, John Major Andre, with the provision of West Point to the British succeeded.

It is easy to paint like a coward or a traitor in modern times, but keep in mind thatRe were believers who fought for the British colonists who fought for independence.
If the result had been different, as "people George Washington a dangerous revolutionary and a traitor?

But I must be honest, I'm British so maybe I should have a different opinion of the average American.
